I found Emily at James Craig through my sister -- she'd gotten a great cut and color, and highly recommended going to Emily. Emily does a wonderful job listening to what you want, and then over-delivering on results. Emily's by far the best person that I've found for great color -- for me that's something that looks good, but natural too. I've referred several friends to Emily and they've all become happy clients.

James Craig overall is a lovely salon with friendly, personal service -- they send nice thank you's when you refer someone and greet you by name when you come in.

Great Hair Salon

This is THE salon for those who have abused their hair with bad color treatments, perms, ect. OR who have never invested in a new hair style for themselves. If you've had the same hair style for the past 10+ years, you need to go here and ask for Robert, Owner/Stylist.

They are masters at color and hair care here. They market their own products and the "Touch" hairspray is the best HS I've ever used. My daughers steal it from me when they visit. I also luv the "Shu" sculpting paste.

I've been going here several years, and all the staff is professional, drama free and pleasant to talk with.

Robert is my stylist, and he is brilliant at helping each person find the look that fits their personality and face. I just love him!

You can get a cheaper cut/color elsewhere, but you get so much more than mechanics at this salon.

No talent in this salon

I was a walk-in and walked out with one of the most boring, mediocre haircuts I've ever had in my life. Don't let James Craig's website fool you. They're not as skilled as they claim. Better yet, do NOT let them touch your hair no matter how sweet the reception staff are if you go check them out!

• Cons: my hair looked nothing like what i asked for even with pictures
