Horrible.
by lalamonkey
This place is overpriced. If the food was actually good then it would justify the prices, but it was disgusting. I do not know what was wrong, but everything tasted bad.
- Pros: location
- Cons: food
Disappointing
by jj2626
The place is kind of on the dirty side, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The fish is of cheap quality and not fresh at all. The food is expensive for the cheap quality of the ingredients. The tempura had a nice flavor but other than that the food was very disappointing. If you want good sushi I would recommend tomo sushi in san jose, yuki sushi in santa clara, or kioku in newark (the best sushi in the bay)
Severely Disappointing
by gibbingzoe
After reading the reviews here, my friend and I decided to have some of the food delivered from waiters on wheels. Big mistake. None of the fish was fresh. Not a single piece of it. They overused wasabi on every piece of nigiri, and the sashimi was pitifully cut. The only thing edible were the cucumber rolls, and even those were no better than your average grocery store sushi. Add typical "Hey, it's Japanese food, it's gotta be expensive" prices, this place is a waste of time. If you want real sushi, go check out Le Poisson Japonais in Palo Alto.
