Surprise me

I've been going to Trieu Chau for a few years now. I've met the owner and she is very friendly and helpful. I don't remember the last time I saw their menu. We just tell her how hungry we are and if there are any "dislikes" and she sends out an excellent selection. The location is unusual, but worth the venture downstairs.

San Jose's Best(-Kept Secret) Chinese!!

Excellent food - very unique! I've been eating here for 15 years. Specializes in Chiu-Chou Chinese food (as it's called in Hong Kong) but, as with most excellent Chinese restaurants, the best dishes are not on the menu, they're reserved for Chinese-speaking customers, and for those who know to ask!! So ask the owner for the Chiu-Chou specials of the day! (They also have excellent Cambodian-inspired dishes - the owner was born there - but you have to ask!)
