well i join a week or two ago. Its was 48 for the first month and 16 for the rest of the months. at the end of the year you pay 12 for enhancement fee. if u let them know that u want to cancel do u 30 or more days ahead of time so you wont get bill. i quit before and join back up. i had no problems there. i only wish this place had a spa or something.

My husband and I just joined this gym a couple of weeks ago. I know about the cancellation policy and will plan accordingly. I wasn't promised any expansion and am not expecting any. The price is AMAZING and the gym has all that I would need. We go to the gym on weekday mornings anywhere from 5:30 to 7:00 and it is not crowded at all. The Kids Club is a relatively small area but it gets the job done. My two young girls (1 and 2 y/o) had a great time there when they went during my free training session, so I believe that they were well taken care of. I went to my first step/sculpt class this morning and had a great time while receiving a quality workout! I am impressed with all this gym offers for such a low price!
Pros: Low monthly fees, not crowded in the morning, clean, babysitting

Unfriendly atmosphere, bad customer service, horribly pushy managers that won't take time to help in customer issues! Don't give them your debit card info- they will never let you cancel!!! They just kept charging my card, long after I canceled, no mangers would even help me after I said I want to cancel my membership!! I hate the Right Stuff Healths Clubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out about the horrible cancellation policy the hard way. But what makes it even worse is that I belonged to the DeAnza Club and they closed it and still charged me the horrible cancellation fee. So not only was it really a 60 day notice I had to give them, they then still charged for a service they didn't provide because they had closed the club that I belonged to. Horrible, horrible business practices and customer service.
Cons: I would never reccomend this gym to anyone

I had heard great things until this experience. I was interested in learning more about the services, facilities, and programs this place had to offer. At the moment all I wanted was to get a brochure and more information on this gym. Well who ever is in charge (possibly the head manager or someone with an attitude) didn't think it was worth his time to just give me some more information. He stated that I could sign a liability form and walk around if I'd liked and made a rude comment by saying I was just shopping around. He then walked away. Well duh -- how does he expect me to get a membership at a gym if I don't shop around. C'mon, not all members will have time to sit patiently and listen to what they have to say, some of us have kids, and places to go - whatever happened to getting detailed information, a website, etc. on paper? What kind of customer service is that? It seems like they want you to enroll on the spot by meeting with you to convince you to become a member. Too bad for such negative vibes and customer service - this spot just lost many interested parties!!! It is important to note that all places will have it's positives and negatives, but customer service is key to any type of buisness, especially if someone is requesting more information.
Pros: None that I can share
Cons: Bad Customer Service

Friendly staff, CLEAN GYM....DOES NOT SMELL LIKE A LOCKER ROOM. Fully staffed, trained professionals. Very serious envirnment, not like Curves. Comfortable, friendly, clean, LOTS OF EQUIPMENT....why go anywhere else?
Pros: cheap, clean, serious atmosphere
Cons: saturday closes at 8pm and sunday 6pm.

Great gym, friendly staff. I almost stopped my membership because I moved 10 miles south....but after testing out other gyms (Club One, 24 hr fitness and Gold's) I found that it was worth the drive. They even lowered my membership to $12.00 per month! How can you beat that! I love this gym. Clean, lots of equipment...they have a "curves" section where you can do circuit training. Lots of light free weights for women. The only thing I would recommend is to add a Cardio Kickboxing class. Other than that...it's perfect for me.

Want a great health club at an extremely offordaable price, look no further than the Right Stuff Health Clubs. They have locations all over the Bay Area. This is a very family oriented, non-intimidating environment. Outstanding customer service, a full featured facility with extensive cardio and weight training. Group exercises, 30 minute circuit training, childcare and personal training programs. I encourage anyone wishing to join a club to stop at the Right Stuff first!
Pros: staff, facilities, inexpensive
Cons: none

I just found out that if you call at the beginning of the month to cancel your membership, it's really not 30 days. I tried to cancel Aug 1 but was told I would still get billed for Sept 1. Wow! That makes 60 days! The reason? My Aug 1 billing has already gone through so I somehow would still get billed for Sept. That makes no sense, especially since Sept 1 is a whole 32 days away. I agree that their membership is great & reasonable, but what out if you want to cancel. And their corporate staff knows nothing about "excellent customer service"!

I cancelled my membership at Right Stuff because I moved to another city where there was no Right Stuff. Then I found out the cancellation policy of Right Stuff was quite a rip-off. I still had to pay for the membership for 30 days after I cancelled the membership. After the 30 days, then they applied the prepaid last month's due. It means that if you cancel your membership in March, you still get charged for April, and then your prepaid last due will be applied to May. Why dont they just apply my prepaid due to April???? What a RIP-OFF!
