Basically, I dont know of a better BBQ joint in the south bay. The neat thing is that you dont HAVE to have a gut-busting meal every time. The sandwiches are just as good. I go there every time I'm in the area. Before visiting, be aware that JC's bbq sauce is slightly sour in flavor. I really like it, but fans of the sweet variety might not. Also note that drinks are sold by individual cans or bottles, not by fountain.
Pros: GREAT food, Friendly and prompt service, their fantastic sauce can be bought seperately.
Cons: Small location; may be hard to find seat. Closed on sundays.

If I hadn't moved away from the Bay Area, I'd probably be eating here at least once every 2 weeks (I have before) because this place is one of the best BBQ places around! Especially if your rating this place on value: food and price. I started going here back in the mid 90's, and I've lured in/referred so many people to JC's - to the point, I deserve at least 1 free meal from them for all the publicity and referrals I've created for this place, but I'd jus' be happy to be able to get to JC's any chance I get. Also, if your wanting to know how this place compares to commercial chains? Its better, but it doesn't deliver on atmosphere or gimmicks.
Pros: Simple Value, Hot Links, Garlic bread

JC's Bar-B-Que pork ribs has a nice tender texture and a very nice sauce that gives it a special something that makes you want to come back again. Give it a try...You'll see!!! Five Year+ Customer

Cons: Poor parking, Little seating

JC's may not be the biggest or fanciest, with a small storefront location, but it is without a doubt "The Best!" I've been visiting JC's for over 15 years and the quality of the food has never changed - always finger-licking good. No choices for sauce, but with stuff this good who needs choices?
Pros: The sauce, Great Links, Lunch Specials
