In Short
In 1920, Edward Durwood opened a single-screen picture house in Kansas City, Mo. Over the next 40 years, his company went on to pioneer the use of four- and six-screen theaters. In 1969, the company incorporated as American Multi-Cinema Inc. in honor of its signature multiplexes. Now, the company is known for theaters with 14 or more screens, as well as innovations such as armrests with built-in cup holders, stadium seating with LoveSeats, ATM-style ticketing and online ticket purchasing.

I've seen two movies here in the past few days while I'm visting. The theatres are well designed, sound is good, service at counters is fine also. One thing I like about AMC's are the Kiosks for getting tickets quick and with your credit card. Another nice feature about this theatre is the snack bar takes credt cards also and has a good selection like real cheese and Tostito's tortilla chips for a quick snack.
A few good choices in the center for a quick bite to eat like In and Out Burger, etc. One thing that stood out though is how many people visit this theatre... get here early, it seems like the 9pm shows are REALLY packed. I went at 7PM times for both new movies and got in and got a good seat 15 min early.
- Pros: High Tech, Good Sound, Good Seats
