Competent, caring Dr
by JanWh at Citysearch
Dr Walters has the same office and receptionist that was used by the previous occupant of this space, Dr. O'Neill, who was one of the two Drs in Saratoga from the 1950s, when we moved to the area. I find Dr Walters to be personable and caring. He knows what he's doing and has good rapport with the patients. I've recommended him to friends.

This doctor is great with my teenager. He is able to have her communicate with him and provides excellent care and follow through.
- Pros: Bedside manner/Communication
- Cons: Front office secty - probably not efficient
Good Doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Walters for 4 years and have been pleased with his management of my health care.
I found the posting by RRMON to be very harsh and a poor way to rate a Doctor. To rate a Doctor by the age of his furnature, medical equipment, receptionist, and patients is silly at best and stupid at worst.
- Pros: Thoughtfull, thorough and caring
- Cons: none
Do not waste your time!

I am new to the area and was looking for a new primary provider. This doctor was young, but his office was so old and everything was out-dated. It looked like they got the furniture and the medical equipment from a yard sale. The staff consisted of the doctor and a receptionist. From the beginning, he didn't seem the least bit interested in helping me as a patient and definitely not as a primary provider. I think he is content with his few VERY elderly patients. His demeanor and his appearance showed a lazy and distracted personality. I decided right then that I didn't want to return to the office ever again. He prescribed an allergy medicine that was not covered by my insurance. When the pharmacy called to have the prescription changed to a different brand, his office never returned their call. In other words, I never could get the prescription. I also called to see if he would refer me to an ENT (as he said he would if I needed it). I called his office twice and never received a return call. It's been over two weeks now and I never heard a work about the prescription or the referral. I think this doctor and his receptionist are more interested in what the pharmaceutical reps for the day are bringing to their office than they are in their patients.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Everything you could think of
