Sylvan help boost my SAT score by 60 points

I want to thank each and every one of your staff members that has been able to help me reach my academic and SAT goals i would also like to thank the staff members that i was blessed to be able to work with and interact with non-academically throughout my sessions, i am no doubt one of you many success stories. working with great teachers like Harry, Andrew, Craig, and many more was not only great fun, but also a great learning experience. the basic tools that they were able to equip me with are the tools that i am using in my current math class, and those same tools are helping me get an A in the class! concepts are far easier to grasp and utilize after one on one tutoring. My SAT scores jumped 60 points after preparing with your course for only a few weeks. words cannot express the thanks you deserve, but my scores and grades can. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to broaden my horizons at such a warm and welcoming place.

Sylvan is great

I just want to express my thanks to Sylvan for helping Amanda improve in her reading and math scores. She was listed as a possible retention in 2nd grade in May but after attending the Sylvan Center for the spring and summer months

I have noticed a significant improvement in her skills but especially in her self confidence. These first few days in 3rd grade for her have been extremely easy and she is so excited about being able to handle the work with ease.

i wish all t he school could post the sylvan information for parents to see. i know this was a wonderful discovery for me and i would like to see other parents have the same opportunity

We got more than what we expected from Sylvan

My daughter has been going to a private school where there are a lot of Chinese kids. We noticed her English is not really good because she has been traveling to Taiwan every Summer. Another reason could be that too many Chinese students at the school and my wife speaks Chinese to her at home. So we decided to get tutoring help for her. I did a lot of research and was debating Sylvan or private tutor. It just happened that one of my friends has her daughter going to Sylvan Learning Center at Mountain View for about 1 year. I had a good conversation with her. She highly recommended Sylvan over both Kumon & private tutor (she tried both before Sylvan). So I decided to give a try. My daughter improved her reading skills from a "D" grade to "B+" after 36 hours in the summer. I am so happy and want to share this with others. I think Sylvan did a good job at motivating my daughter and design a right program that includes tutoring & homework.

My son's math improved 2 grade levels in less than 2 months

My son has been struggling with math since 1st grade. We decided to give Sylvan a try. We heard of Sylvan many times from other friends & people at school. The director here is a Chinese gentleman. He is an excellent math teacher. I believe he learned a lot of math in China. Anyway, he first did a test for my boy, then designed a program with homework from Sylvan. My son is always happy going to Sylvan and he can tell me clearly what he learned while we are driving home everyday. About 2 weeks ago, I remember my son ran to me after Sylvan class and full of joy. He told me that he finally learned division in that class and he cannot wait to practice at home. Put things in perspective, division is something that my son has been struggling for the past 1-2 years. My son took a 36 hour exam yesterday. He improved nearly 2 grade level. I am very proud of my son and impressed with the progress that Sylvan did for him.
