I didn't realize this was a chain until I typed it in on citysearch. I had to add salt to all the pasta dishes and most of them were too lightly seasoned for my taste. The warm bread was great and the pomodoro sauce was also really good. Our server was very friendly and polite. The food came out piping hot and fairly quickly. Not a bad lunch spot.
Pros: cheap lunch spot

Nice price, great attention to detail. This by far is the best pasta place in town since the new general manager mark has arrived.
Pros: Jazz on Sat. night. Movies playing on the patio.
Cons: Parking is a mess but worth the trouble.

I love Pasta Pomodoro! Although the Santana Row one is closer to where I live, I always prefer this one. The service is excellent, the food is NEVER a let down, and prices are really reasonable. Its just an all around great place with great food.

All their branches are good, but watch out for the holiday set menus. We went for Easter dinner and the food was disappointing. You'd think that the food would be better on a holiday. Also, the wait for our food was so long that they ended up comping us the dessert prices (dessert was included in the Easter dinner). Overall, however, this is a good restaurant. This particular one has better ambiance than most, unless you get stuck in the back corner which also happened to us on Easter! (even though it wasn't crowded that night).
Pros: reliability, food, price

There're many more branches everywhere. They're cheap but many dishes are good. It's a casual place with good food and quick friendly service. They have open kitchen and it can get real noisy, but I found it pretty nice to smell all different kinds of food. It's not very crowded usually so I never had to make reservation. Loved their complimentary pesto dip that comes with the bread. Chicken Marsala is good, with strong aroma of sautee mushrooms. You can substitute the Fettacine with brocoli for most dishes. Spinach salad is delicious with bacon and grilled sweet onions. Their seafood pasta is ok, but still got quite a bit of seafood in it and it's only $9. Sign up online and they will send free entree coupon on your birthday and $5 off coupon when sign up.
Pros: Casual Setting, Decent Price, Friendly Service
