I've been to Eugene and Emi and I am pleased to say that I have enjoyed my experience ever single time. They gave me great haircuts. I highly recommend Umbrella!

My haircut was horrible! I had euguene and he really F*d up my hair! I asked for long layers and thick bangs and he really really did not know what the hell he was doing! He cut my bangs so far back into my hair line that my bangs start at the top back of my head! When I tried curling my hair, I noticed that he cut my hair so short in the middle back of my head underneath all the hair two inches from from the scalp! He says he has been there for a few years! he does not know what he is doing! DO NOT HAVE EUGENE CUT YOUR HAIR. He ruined my roommates hair too and cut it too short!

Christian rocks...he's a perfectionist and loves his work. I've been his client for about 6 years and have never been disappointed. He chooses the hair color and style that suites you best and works with you. A trip to visit Christian ia a fun trip, his personality just flows constantly and you feel totally relaxed and welcomed. My hair's never looked sooo good. Thanks Christian and Umbrella Staff! This hair salon is the best ever! See you soon!!!

Khoi cut my hair last month and I am still getting compliments, one of the best haircuts I have ever had. The space looks great without feeling like a lot of the Euro trash places I have tried out throughout the years.My hair looks Great!! I highly recommend this salon for anyone who is looking for a stylish haircut. I loved the atmosphere which was relaxing and unpretentious.

at umbrella salon you will find the "haute couture of hair" . Each stylist is super talented & creative, the vibe is high and beautiful. Kerastase rules and Christian & Kien Rock! What can I say about Umbrella Salon?? Highly professional, very courteous, innovative environment, skillful staff and a very overall pleasant experience everytime I go in there. I absolutely love my hair stylist Kien!! He makes sure that I'm all comfortable and the one-on-one service I get is outstanding. I've never gotten more compliments on my haircut and color before going to Kien. Eugene, his assistant, gives a really great neck and scalp massage that really invigorates the entire experience. The secret is out......Umbrella Salon <B>IS</B> the best in the Bay Area. There's an obvious reason all my friends go there and never heard a single complaint, only compliments!

Previous to Umbrella I've experienced what I thought was good quality of cuts and service. That was 3 years ago! Since I started seeing my regular stylist (Christian) I have not left nor ever wanted to see another shop. The staff is extemely professional, curtious and the salon is immaculate. I've recommended several of my family and friends and everytime have received the best feedback (not to mention fabulous hair).

I moved from San Jose to Seattle. I have yet to find a salon as Good as Umbrellas. Kien is the best. I fly back to San Jose to have Kein cut and color my hair... Darlene

I live in the East Bay. I love how Kien cuts my hair and I enjoy the atmosphere of the Salon. The stylists always remember me, say Hi and make me feel like they are truly glad to see me. Kien is creative, experienced and has a keen eye for detail. He works miracles with a razor, especially on my hair which is coarse, thick and full of waves. Amber and Katrina have also cut and colored my hair. They are excellent as well as being genuinely nice. The staff s friendly, helpful and the head and neck massage is relaxing and invigorating. I visit the salon every four weeks and never dread the drive as I know I will enjoy my visit and walk out two hours later with a fresh and chic new haircut that I constantly receive compliments on the great style.

I have been going to Umbrella Salon for almost 2 years now and I am always delighted with their work. The staff (especailly Katrina) took me in and helped me discover how great looking my hair could be! Once I went to a salon in SF instead and they totally wrecked my hair color. Back to Umbrella to have them fix it! I am spoiled now and won't go anywhere else!
