Got hot water?. We got hot water head to toe by accident. Waiters blaming each other but didn't give us towels right away. No complimentary, No discount, Plus they shrunk my hubby's pants and ignore it. Simply awful.

Worst Sushi EVERRRRRRRRRRR!. My boyfriend loves sushi and he's from out of town. He was here visiting and I wanted to take him somewhere awesome and thought, 'What better place for sushi than Japantown?! Right?' Oh my buddha, I was so wrong.

We do admit, we walked into the place 30 mins before closing time. We were gonna do take out to make it easier on them, but the hostess told us to have a seat and it wasn't a problem.

Once our server came to the table, she made sure we knew that they were closing in 30 mins. I don't understand why the server was rude to us about that if the hostess said it was no problem. We let that go.

The miso came, it was actually good.

Then the sushi came. It looked like it had been sitting out for hours. We took a bite of each roll and lost our appetite completely. All the food was wasted and we felt awful about that, but it was so gross. I'm even vegetarian and the avocado roll was awful. How do you mess that one up?

We asked to speak to the owner to see if we could have some items taken off our bill. When she came out, she looked as bad as the food. (Our waitress did too actually.) We said we didn't know if it was because it was late in the night and their chefs were tired or whatever, but we were definitely not happy with the quality of our food. It was so awful. She said she wouldn't be taking anything off the bill and followed us out as we paid. The food was bad enough and then the customer service made it that much worse.

Don't ever eat at Restaurant Kazoo if you know what's good for you!

awesome sushi. ok. so this is a really hot spot during the lunch hour. me and a couple of gals from my office have a strategy (which i am sure can be your strategy from now on). We arrive at 11:30. thats it. if you arrive at 11:30 you get parking and a seat at the bar.

Food is awesome. if you get there earlier you get the fresh stuff off the rotating bar. I love their deep fried scallops and the sauce that goes with it is very spicy (yum!). I am partial to things with cheese in it so of course i love their New Jersey roll (cream cheese and tuna).

I love everything i have tried there. I highly encourage you to back away from your desk (right now) and get your but over there.

Worst Sushi Restaurant!. This place is gross! My husband and I came here to have dinner one night and one of the Sushi Chefs crawled under the sushi boat to get behind the counter to cut fish. As he did, his hands touched the floor and he went strait to cutting fish, without washing his hands! This place is not sanitary and the food wasn't that great. Not Recommended if you like your food clean and safe!

Fresh Sushi at Reasonable Price. My husband and I were stuffed after only having spent $35 excluding drinks and taxes (and he eats a lot). The sushi was fresh and the portions were reasonable. We sat at the bar and I recommend bypassing the sushi boat (especially when the place is about to close) because the sushi we ordered from the chef were so much more fresh. The chefs were very accomodating.

Big menu, Big in Flavour, Low on cost.. Kazoo is a friendly traditional restraunt. It is simple in ambiance but it is still really nice and cozy. The menue is vast with the greatest selections of various plates and appitisers. The sushi is fresh and made to order. My number one choice for japanese cuisine is always Kazoo. It is also really great if you are unfamiliar with the culture or food; the staff is helpfull and will explain every term and dish for you. Fun place to take friends or family and the sushi boats at the sushi bar make even a quick stop for lunch more than feasible.

Great Sushi!. In a land of way to many sushi restaurants, I think Kazoo is the best and hope you guys stay there forever. No one compares and I had a great time talking with the sushi chefs. More people should come to Japantown and check you out. I know I will be coming back again and again.
