Move over LaBelle, Hello Destino Spa. What a hidden SHANGRI-LA!!! Amazing customer service and my masseuse Sam was out of this world. The massage I got was extremely therapeutic and I have to say, I forgot all about my problems under his spell of his magical hands. A must VISIT spa. I felt like I was somewhere else...the ambiance just takes you away. The place was so clean and friendly. Worth every dime. I highly recommend Destino. Forget LaBelle. I have been wasting my money at the wrong spa. Destino has now acquired a new regular client. Request for SAM with the magical hands.

Pros: Ambience just takes your breath away

When I received the massage I asked her to focus on my shoulders and she spent all of 5-10 minutes on the upper back and zero time on the top of my shoulder. Needless to say, the kinks never got worked out. I also had to leave early due to an infant at home and wanted to come back to do my facial and they wanted to change an extra 50% plus the full price. Oh heck NO. The Spa “décor” had a lot to be desired and I wasn’t overly impressed with the steam room. It Looked like your average shower.

It has taken me ten years to find a local masseuse who can use enough pressure for her treatment to be therapeutic, yet no so deep as to be painful. Charina is fantastic and so are her knowledge and techniques--she asked me what my trouble spots were and I told her the main ones, but she found the others intuitively. Worth every last penny.

Every visit to Destino Spa has been an amazing, relaxing escape from my super busy schedule. The decor is very inviting and I love to shop the spa products. It has been not only the perfect place to relax, but a great place to get birthday and holiday gifts for friends! Always time for shopping!

I love Destino's! The staff is amazing, so professional and experienced. When Christine (owner) greets you at the front desk with a warm smile you know that you are in for a relaxing experience. From the moment you step in to Destino's, you know that it is an upscale establishment and that you are in for a treat. As soon as I get there, all outside stress just melts away. Christine has created a relaxing "get away" retreat from lifes busy schedules. They offer many different types of services and Christine always has seasonal promotions that are conveniently e-mailed to you if you are on their mailing list. I love that they think of all the small details.

Pros: great parking, professional, great staff

Every time I come to Destino, I am amazed how much I can relax just walking through the doorway. Christine Rivera has created a Asian inspired oasis where she and her staff personally attend to the details that makes visitors feel like treasured guests. I have recieved many but not all of the services offered. Staff members are obviously well trained and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.

Pros: Gracious Staff, Free Onsite Parking, Peaceful Atmosphere

Stumbling into Destino was unexpected! Walking into this Hidden Treasure was an experience! Being welcomed by a warm and gracious person at the front counter, with a huge smile, saying how are you, offerring something to drink, then asking how i am, and how she could help me (for all she knew, I could have been the mailman). Being from out of town, and not having an appointment, I inquired about massage. Turns out they were booked. Instead was offered a tour of the Spa, then lead to a relaxation room, to read over the brochure. I travel frequently to the bay area, and although I was never able to get an appointment that day, I felt very comfortable that Destino is the place I want to come back to fr a massage. I am anticipating my journey back to this little far and away place.

Pros: Friendly, Attentive, peaceful

Cons: always booked

I went to Paige for my first waxing. I had some apprehension, but found out I had no reason to worry. After having my legs and underarms waxed, I trusted Paige to do a Brazilian, but I hadn't booked that in advance and it couldn't be worked in. Paige did a great job of making me feel comfortable. After the waxing I had a Destino Journey facial with Julie. Julie also did a fantastic job, starting with a foot soak and massage, hand massage with heated mittens after, and a great facial. Both Paige and Julie are absolutely recommended!

Pros: talented, friendly, no pressure

Found this spa through citysearch. I was looking for a place that did traditional microdermabrasion. I wanted the kind that blasted crystal stream onto the face. Destino was the only one I could find on the internet in the Bay Area. (Later on, I found another one in Palo Alto's Town & Country). When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly staff. The waiting room had great atmosphere although it was a bit cramped. I was led into the spa room by Caroline. She did great job on the microderm. The suction from the machine was a bit too strong. So I had a little broken capillaries on my cheek. Other than that, it was a great experience and I purchased a series of 6 microderm on the spot.

Pros: Friendly staff, great atmosphere

Cons: small relaxing room, a bit expensive

Even though I have always enjoyed facials, I must admit that the effects were not really lasting in the past and my face would eventually break out. This until I found Destino and their truly expert staff. I get consistent compliments every time I visit the facialist at Destino and my skin does feel re-energized and smooth for days afterwards.

Pros: Facials, friendly staff

Cons: location, no room to lounge
