I decided to make an appt. after reading all the great reviews, and the location is very convienent for me. This place is amazing. I got the organic facial with the eye treatment and it was the best facial I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and make you feel really relaxed. The whole experience lasted about 1 1/2 hours and I felt so revived and refreshed afterwards. Definetely going back!

Wow! First time brazilian wax! It was very pleasant. Jane made it very comfortable for me. I highly recommend the place. The service was great! The room where you get your waxes was very clean. You enter a clean place you leave a clean place. The price was great too. Very accomadating front desk receptionist. Kenny will be sure to get you in whenever you can. Avoid 3pm and later appts on a Friday, it's hectic on the freeway exit!!!

Friendly and courteous staff. The scenery is very relaxing. Great prices, a great gift for someone special. You feel rejuvinated after any facial. People have told me that my face has a certain glow, little do they know that I get my facial once a month. If I feel like treating myself after a stressful morning, I treat myself to their lunch special.

I also would not consider this a "spa", but if you are looking for an amazing manicure-pedicure, this is the place. The price is the best I have found ($12.00 manicure) with the best products to choose from. The service was great. I also really like that the location is in Santana Row, so after my services, I can grab a bit to eat, do some shopping and see a movie.

Pros: quality of products, Location Location, $$$PRICE$$$

I recently had a facial while I was traveling in Singapore at a very expensive and recommended world renowned spa. When I returned back to the states my face had broken out terribly from the experience. I searched all over Palo Alto and SF area for an opening for a spa to get a facial to clear up the problems I had gotten overseas. I contacted lavender, they listened to what had occurred and offered to assist me. I went there, and had a consult and received THE BEST facial I have ever had by anyone, time was taken and specific care given for my needs, I work at Stanford and have told EVERYONE I know to go there, their prices are well below reasonable and the service is 5 stars. The staff is excellent, courteous and knowledgeable, more so than many of the Spas in the area.

I finally got around to using my gift certificate here and my only regret is not using it sooner. Lavender is a gem. I was greeted with warm sincere smiles the moment I stepped in. My therapist gave me a thorough consultation on my face and helped me understand the steps I need to take to care for my skin. The facial itself was the best I've ever had and I've been to many many in the bay area. Even though I got the 60min. Classic Facial, it lasted for about 90mins. This is one of the few places that really wants to get the job done well instead of getting it done by the clock. Will recommend.

Pros: exceptional service, great value, excellent products

Cons: average decor

My girlfriends and I went to Lavender for a day of pampering and relaxing and it was amazing! I had the Hydration Treatment and loved every minute of it. The ambiance and atmosphere is also very relaxing. I would definitely go back.

Pros: Prices, location

Wow! What an experience, the staff is really nice and does great work. I especially enjoyed the 'Super Hydration Treatment'; my skin was hydrated, glowing and full of life afterwards. I really wanted to stay awake for everything but the shoulder-up massage along w/ the ambience of the place kept putting me to sleep. I'd also recommend the 'Lemon Sugar Body Polish' but make sure they use the Papaya Mask after. My body was like butter. I can't wait until you guys add massage to your menu!

I walked into the facility to an empty lobby with nobody at the front counter. There were no brochures or pricing on any kind of service they offered. There was absolutley no customer service at all!! They also do not offer many spa services like body treatments & massages and yet they call themselves a spa? I would not recomend this place- there are much better in the area.

Cons: no customer service, No pricing Info, Poor ambiance
