Chaat rules!
by hereingarlic at Citysearch
Absolutely wonderful food, with just enough heat. The wraps a a wonderful idea. Samosas and a variety of naan breads. All the mint chutney you can handle. The portions are great, and just over $20 had me eating for days. Orders take about 20 minutes, as it's all prepared after you order. I used to go to a buffet place when I wanted my Inidan fix. Now I go to Chaat!

Indian mini-chain with wraps, kebobs and curries for dine-in or takeout. Specialty naan, tandoori and vegetarian dishes.
World class experience
by ganeshpa at Citysearch
most authentic India food with world class personal service at the speed of fast food joints. Simplified menu removed complexity of what to choose and once you visit, difficult to resist more!
- Pros: excellent taste, excellent Ambience, excellent Service
- Cons: none, none, none
Fantastic wraps, very noisy
by midelahaye at Citysearch
Went there for the first time, and I would definitely recommend that place. The food was really good, they have many different types of wraps and stuffed naans I had never even heard of before. Reasonnably priced too. The main thing shortfall was the owner's kids who were screaming and running around the restaurant, very very annoying when you're trying to eat.
- Pros: wraps, naans
- Cons: noisy
Two Thumbs Up!

I have been to several other Indian restaurants in and around Bay Area, but this one ROCKS....
First of all it's inexpensive, good food for less and above all customized to your own taste, this reminds me of my days back home.
Their Desi chicken wrap & Seekh kabob wrap are very delicious one of my favorites. Over the weekend they serve briyanis and chicken briyani is a dish to die for.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fresh and delicious food in a very cascual and friendly environment.
2 thumbs UP!.
- Pros: Wraps, Naan, Ambience
- Cons: Long Lines

One of the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in it class.
Wraps are out of this world, served in a hot naan; my favorite is Desi Chicken wrap perfect with a glass of mango lassi.
Service is prompt; food is fresh and served fast in a very casual environment.
Weekend specials includes Chicken/Veg Briyanis, I end up having there chicken briyani almost on every weekend.
Two Thumbs Up!
- Pros: Inexpensive
- Cons: none
Nice & Yummy

The food was pretty tasty and delicious.Fun, fast, atmosphere for a quick lunch or casual dinner. We tried the Chaat Cafe in Sunnyvale and were very turned off by the service and food, but at the advice of some indian co-workers, who claimed Chaat Cafe in San Jose is the closet thing to a real Indian restaurant in the staes, I tried out Chaat cafe in San Jose for dinner last friday night at it was quite an experience. The curries are also delicious, not too oily and well spiced so you can actually enjoy the meal.Top dishes are butter chicken, fish pakoras, choley bhature and Chicken tikka roll is to die for.Don't miss this spot!
- Pros: Naans, curries, Atmosphere

The BEST!

I am a former Bay Area local and will go out of my way to visit the Chaat Cafe when I am back in town. The food speaks for itself and one visit will ensure that you become a repeat customer. The prices are very reasonable which allows you to order more dishes and have variety on your visit. Everything else from the decor to the customer service is spectacular...this is truly a hidden gem in San Jose :)
- Pros: Great Food, Inexpensive
