Finally a great hair salon in Los Gatos! It is wonderful to find REAL professionals, a refreshing change from most salons in LG! The stylist who did my hair, also the owner of Tao Blaze, Isa, is very talented, very good at listening and has an excellent eye. I am thankful to her for a great haircut for my difficult hair. I also enjoyed the relaxed, pleasant atmosphere of the salon, a far cry from the uptight, catty atmosphere found around town at places like Nimbus... Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Pros: Very talented staff, friendly atmosphere

Cons: None!

Tao Blaze is the best hair salon around. Sonja is my stylist and she takes the time to make my hair perfect. I could be in a magazine with the haircuts and color that she does for me! I always leave there feeling fantastic and revived!! The atmosphere is wonderful as well.. all the ladies take very good care of you. I would highly recommended this salon and Sonja is FANTASTIC!!

They are the absolute experts on special occasion hairstyles. They did all the models hairstyles for the 2007 and 2008 Santana Row "Children and Mom's" spring fashion shows. Isa, Sonya and Deidre did 45 (!) amazing hairstyles for girls, boys and Moms in just 2 hours! Amazing! They are so creative and made each and every model look like a superstar. I would recommend them to brides, bridal parties, catwalk models, proms, parties or anyone who wants to look their best.

Pros: talented stylists. Very nice people and aim to please too

I had been a customer of Isa's for many years, then I moved away. I wondered why I could not find anyone else who did a satisfactory job on my hair...and I tried a few. Finally, I started doing it myself. Recently I moved back and first thing I did was go see Isa. My hair looks the best ever. The color is perfect for my complexion and people comment on how good it looks. I am happy and I think that Isa is always a person who will push to make her client look better and better. Thanks Isa. I missed you!

Pros: Knowledge, skill, understanding customer needs

Cons: A little pricy...but worth it!

Based on a recommendation from a friends mom I went to Tao Blaze and had my hair cut and colored by Becca. It was a disaster! When I went back to my normal stylist she said it looked like my hair had been cut with a machete. And to boot the color was completely uneven and faded within weeks. I just heard from the same friend that she is moving to Capelli's salon in Los Gatos. Maybe now I will consider going back to Tao Blaze. Good luck Capelli's! You will need it if you are hiring stylists of this caliber.

Pros: Absolutely Nothing

If you want to look like a character from one of Molly Ringwald's 1980's movies, then this is your place. If your single, get a haircut here and you will stay single.

There are so many salons in Los Gatos, it is hard to choose just one. The hair cuts are decent here.

I LOVE this salon. My hair color always looks fabulous after a visit to Tao Blaze. I have been going to Isa for years. I always grab her business cards when I leave, for the people who compliment my hair cut and color. If you are in the market for a new hair designer...you need to go to Tao Blaze!

The stylists at Tao Blaze Salon did a fabulous job of styling all the children's and women's hair for a Children of the World fashion show at Santana Row this past Mother's Day weekend. They were so nice to volunteer their services for the show. I would use them if I ever needed a striking updo or styling for a special occasion. Check them out!

Pros: Beautiful and exciting updos and styling!

Cons: They're in Los Gatos, I live in Palo Alto.

I am a true Tao Blaze devotee! Becka is not just my stylist and colorist - she is my hair saviour. Like other clients who have posted reviews, I put full trust in Becka's judgement. I usually just leave it up to her to decide what to do with my hair, but on the rare occasion I want something specific, she executes it perfectly. Since I started seeing Becka people rave about my hair (friends, co-workers, and complete strangers!) and I have never felt as comfortable or confident with any other hairstyle or color. Becka and Isa also styled my wedding party's hair last year and everyone looked beautiful. At the wedding a long-time family friend even commented that my hair color is the best he's ever seen on me. And as he is an artist this was a compliment I took very seriously. My Mom is also Becka's client and we have such a good time at the salon that we book our appointments together. We never want to leave! Isa, Becka, and Sonja always make us feel so welcomed and appreciated.....they truly make Tao Blaze the best salon in the Bay Area.
