Good location, quick decent food during the rush lunch hour time. But it is a bit pricey for the value.
- Pros: location
I've Had Better

With so many Vietnamese restaurants in the South Bay I would not waste another $4+ here. The broth was bland.
- Pros: Fast
- Cons: Bland
For those that are just getting to know noodles, this is a great place to get your soup on.

The Cuisine
This chain-restaurant menu offers sections devoted to training-wheels pho, garden-variety pho, and stunt pho for the true adventurers, all priced at $4.20 for a small bowl (enormous) and $5.10 for a large (scary big).
Bites We Like
The basic steak pho brings a mound of paper-thin meat slices cooked strictly by the piping hot broth. A cold vermicelli bowl is equally successful, with smoky marinated pork slices and a pile of little fried spring rolls to liven up the simple vermicelli noodles, crunchy iceberg and carrots.
Great Broth
The broth at Pho Hoa is perhaps the best around--clear and savory.
The Setting
Perhaps the most hospitable to pho neophytes, Pho Hoa is bright and cheery, with freshly painted teal walls and great menus that provide detailed pictures of the dishes.
angry service

Food is fantastic, and excellently priced. However the service could use a little attention. I never thought I would encounter a business that seemed angry to have my business. And I frequent the place often....angry service is almost the norm, maybe once every 3 times I go there.
- Pros: good food, cheap, fast
- Cons: angry service
Just plain good

When you want food and none of the frills like "please" and "thank-you," this is the place. You sit, order, eat, pay, and walk out with a satisfied belly. What you see is what you get. Some locations of Pho Hoa are better than others (avoid Sunnyvale and Milpitas and go to Cupertino) but it all really depends on what you order. This is comfort food. Noodles and hot soup. Yum.
