Awesome ambience, wonderful beer, good food, nice service, and a very nice place to relax with friends!
Pros: Beer, Food, Service...
Cons: Parking around the restaurant!

Tied House is good option for a place to go to after work with some friends. This is your typical MicroBrew place but the size of the place is huge. Their speciality is the Beer of course! And they do a good job on it. I would recommend their Beer Sampler. It's $9 and you can sample 8-10 beers all served in 6oz glasses. Give you a good taste of everything and plenty of beer. If not they have plenty of choices and beers will cost around $6 for a pint. The food here is good too. I would say for "Bar Food" it's a step up from most places but not definately not "fine dinning". Prices here are reasonable too you can get a good size burger for about $9and most meals come under $14. I would come back here again but would try to avoid Friday & Saturday because the place gets busy and you may have to wait. But it's a great place say on a Wednesday after work to meet with some friends, catch the game, drink some beer, and have some good food.
Pros: Good Beer, Decent Prices, Good Food
Cons: Can be very busy on Weekends!

The beer at Tied House is some of the best micro brew anywhere. The food is only average.
Pros: beer, parking
Cons: so so food, cold

Go for the beer and not for the food. It's average, but a good time with large or small groups. (The onion rings are great!)
Pros: outdoor seating, prompt seating, good beer

The Tied House is a good bet, day or night. Nothing is better than The Tied House downtown San Jose on a Friday afternoon during the Farmers Market. The food is excellent, the beer is great and the people watching is priceless!

Very busy and crowded, but it def. adds to the overall feel of the place. Like the beer sampler.
