Fiesta Del Mar is a neighborhood mexican restaurant that doesn't serve average fair. So if you are looking for over-cheesed fried taquitos -- you won't get it there. If you are looking for great shrimp dishes, enchiladas and friendly service-- you've gone to the right place. They also have the best chicken soup! Their selection of margaritas and taquilas is extensive. This is a casual family restaurant. My hunch is that those who don't like it-- might be better off at El Torrito.

Worth the long wait. Weekends and lunch on weekdays get crowded. Definitely try their shrimp plates and soups.
Pros: Seafood
Cons: Parking

The SHRIMP are a must here - any of them will do. Large butterfly shrimp cooked perfectly tender and served with salad and cheese over rice and piping hot! I know the traditional dishes aren't so traditional, so that's up to the goer's taste, i.e. the enchilada's have a heart stopping optional cream sauce. Margarita list was great, but the drink was OK. The staff were OK. The place is a very casual atmosphere, which is great... but I wouldn't go in hot weather. It was in the 90's and HOTTER in the restaurant than outside. A fan would do them wonders.

I have friends who love the various seafood dishes this Mexican restaurant offers. I always come the intent of trying them out. The reality is that I usually get the Chicken Enchiladas Enjococado which is a sour-cream based sauce with guajillo chilies. Think mole sauce combined w/sour cream. Hard to go wrong. And speaking of mole sauce -- they make their own. Lots of chips, three kinds of salsa, good service. Some day I may try a different dish.
Pros: food, service

When I used to work in Mt. View, I came here at least once e ery 2 weeks for lunch. I highly recommend their enjococado burritos and their mole poblano burritos....both huge and full of lots of moist chicken with delicious sauces. The refried beans on the side with melted cheese are fabulous too! This family run business has NEVER failed to deliver great food and impeccable, friendly, fast service. I miss it. Now I only get to drop by once or twice a year.
Pros: excellent food, excellent service, huge portions

We go here once a week! Try the Enchiladas Fiesta Del Mar, or de Enjococado. Margaritas are fantastic, and the service is the fastest I've seen anywhere in the Bay Area.
Pros: Great Food, Fantastic Service, Wonderful Margaritas
Cons: , No Waiting Area

Hands down the best Mexican in the bay area! Great service, value. All of their sister restaurants are equally good.

The food is delicious and well prepared, the chips are unbelievable and the service is great. Can't ask for anything better than that...but it gets better, the prices are very reasonable. Try Grandma's Special. I love their other restaurants too.
Pros: Great food, Friendly Staff, Reasonable Prices

If you like shrimp, you must try the shrimp platters here. Huge jumbo shrimps with so many ways of making your mouth water. Great with their margaritas. The rest of the menu is good, but not extraordinary. Caution: There may be a long wait when it's busy or there's a show.
